MVP: Mobile in Automotive, June 14, 6:30 PM, tiato

This June’s LAVA Mobile event introduces our Mobile Vertical Perspectives (MVP) series with TED like presentations by thought leaders discussing Mobile in Automotive.

The evening will include presentations by Shuki Lehavi – CEO and Co-Founder of Gumiyo and Jim Hughes, Principal in IntellaCar, a car sales technology solution.

Shuki Lehavi is an avid technologist with more than 15 years of successful experience in managing and developing enterprise applications in the banking, healthcare, automotive, and mobile industries. He enjoys working with founders and solving business, product and technology problems.

For over 30 years, Jim Hughes has been a successful entrepreneur, winning awards and delivering the wow for well-known brands. With an extensive background in creating powerful solutions for both dealers and OEMs (e.g. Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Acura, etc.), Jim brings his passion and expertise to the mobile space with IntellaCar, a game-changing iPad solution that accelerates the sales process and enhances the customer experience.

Jim and Shuki will explore mobile across the three dimensions of the automotive consumer experience–from Shopping to Purchase to Ownership.  We’ll ask questions about where inefficiencies lie and new opportunities wait for entrepreneurs to exploit.

•             What are the different tiers looking to achieve from mobile?
•             How will mobile enhance the actual driving experience, and
•             How will our devices interface with our vehicles?
•             How can mobile help surviving franchise dealerships stay competitive?

LAVA Mobile is a Strategic Interest Group of the Los Angeles Venture Association generously supported by E&Y and Gumiyo.  Pre-registration is required for all attendees at LAVA Mobile.  LAVA members are free, all others $35.
