LAVA Mobile Event Feb 21st – Panelist Shuki Lehavi, Gumiyo

The LAVA Mobile event is less than a week away and we continue with our introduction of the panelists.  Shuki Lehavi, Co-Founder and CEO of Gumiyo will be joining Andy Vogel, Senior Vice President of Digital & Mobile for Tribune Company and moderator Lori Kozlowski.  Gumiyo is a platform for delivering the world’s information to every device.

The Gumiyo platform powers over 27,000 mobile sites and apps, built and distributed by the leading publishers and technology providers globally. The company was founded in 2006, and offers cloud-hosted tools to build SMS programs, mobile sites and apps.

Mr. Lehavi is an avid technologist with over 15 years of successful experience in managing and developing enterprise applications in the banking, healthcare, automotive, and mobile industries. He enjoys working with founders and solving business, product and technology problems. When he is not working around the clock, he spends time with his wife and 3 kids, and gets bypassed every year at the LA Marathon by the group of Elvis impersonators.

Registration for this event in now open at LAVA Mobile – a Strategic Interest Group of the Los Angeles Venture Association.  We’ll be getting together at the Working Village in Santa Monica next Tuesday evening, 6:30-8:30PM for an informed look at mobile business models – what works, what doesn’t and what is next.  Join Shuki, Andy and Lori for an evening of information sharing and networking.  This event and the LAVA Mobile SIG is generously sponsored by E&Y.
