Building teams, proper documentation, capital efficiency, protecting Intellectual Property, reporting, sourcing components, disruptive technology, real estate, fund raising and seemingly endless number of decisions and trade-offs are the daily challenges that animate any startup. Mobile LAVA has assembled a group of experts – Founder/CEOs (Hank Leber and Matt Sandler), Venture Capitalist (TX Zhuo), Industry Analyst (Mark Sogomian) and Lawyer (Louis Wharton) to examine these issues and more. And to bring out the best of this panel we’ve recruited a respected journalist who chronicles the Southern California tech scene for a national business journal.
Previously, she served as senior digital editor at the Los Angeles Times, where she directed mobile technology and emerging platforms. She also served as a staff writer, writing about science, technology, the arts, and business. Prior to the Times, she was on staff at Entrepreneur Magazine, and has written for various national publications. She has also worked with MIT Media Lab startups and served as adjunct faculty at Chapman University and USC.
